Pappy’s Paradise Bed & Breakfast is the perfect peaceful place for a romantic weekend getaway or family vacation. Located just one mile from Lake Texoma, it offers a host of activities for guests to enjoy such as fishing, boating and swimming. Only 80 miles from Dallas, it is the perfect vacation destination.

“The Cabin” which sleeps seven, is beautifully crafted from cedar and is secluded in the woods. It has one bedroom with a queen sized bed, one bath with claw foot tub and walk-in shower and a sleeping loft that has a full and single bed. The living area has a potbellied stove and sofa-sleeper. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a reproduction antique cook stove. It is beautifully decorated with the hunter and fisherman in mind. The large front porch is perfect for guests to relax, swing in the swing, sip a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy bird watching. It has its own picnic table, gas grill and fire pit. Everything from soft terry robes to romantic candles is provided for an experience that will not soon be forgotten.

“Pappy’s Place” which sleeps eight, is a charming country cottage that has two bedrooms, two baths and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. It also has a washer/dryer. The comfortable shabby chic living area has a wood burning stove. Overlooking the duck pond is a cheerful sunroom that has a wicker swing, rocker and a trundle bed. What better place for guests to enjoy sipping their morning coffee? It has its own picnic table, gas grill and outdoor fire pit. There is a relaxing shaded patio area with a swing where guests may gather, sip lemonade and enjoy the view of the duck pond. It is truly a bit of paradise!

“The Texas House” is a beautifully crafted 1700 square foot cedar home secluded in the woods. It welcomes you with a large front porch on which you can kick back and relax. The living area with its beautiful rock fire place is decorated with western furniture and a Texas bar. Cooking in the kitchen will be a joy with the new stainless steel appliances and the unique tin punch cabinets. The two bedrooms down stairs include one with bunk beds and the other with a full size bed. A large bath joins the two bedrooms. After climbing the cedar rail staircase, you will enjoy relaxing and watching T.V. or playing video games in the loft. It is furnished with an oversized recliner and a twin-size sofa-sleeper with ottoman. Adjoining the loft is the master bedroom complete with a built in T.V. and small refrigerator. The master bath has a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi tub. With its high vaulted tin ceilings and large Texas star hanging over the fireplace, this home is the cowboy’s and cowgirl’s paradise.

A self-serve breakfast is provided in each guest house.
